Welcome to Satsang

 

Satsang, literally translated, means "A community of seekers after truth."

I like to think of it as a gathering of hearts and minds on a shared journey toward deep spiritual truths and higher realities. But Satsang is even more than that—it is a generosity of spirit, a sacred space to pray, meditate, learn, share, and reflect.

Satsang is not just about learning from a teacher; it’s about coming together with others who are walking the same path, supporting one another, and growing together. In this space, we help each other discover more, find deeper meaning, and uncover the wisdom that lives within us all.

It is in this community that the deepest discoveries are made—through centring with meditation, listening, sharing experiences, and offering wisdom. Here, we help others, and in turn, receive help ourselves.

At its core, Satsang is a community of those who seek to understand themselves, their spirit, Nature and the world around them, and tap into the higher wisdom and power that pervades all. 

The Online Schedule

 

Monday 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm AEST on Zoom.

7:00 pm – Arrival and Settling In
Take a few moments to arrive, settle in, and perhaps share any reflections from the past week.

7:15 pm – Opening Practice
We will begin with a prayer, a short chant, or a mantra, followed by either silent or guided meditation for about 10 minutes.

7:30 - 8:30 pm – Topic Presentation & Group Reflection
The evening’s topic will be presented, followed by group reflection and the sharing of wisdom to deepen our understanding and support integration.

You are also welcome to join us at the end of the opening meditation, around 7:30 pm AEST, if that suits you. Please note that during the opening practice and meditation, your host will not be admitting anyone to the session.

What will we talk about? 

Drawing from the timeless wisdom of the great Masters and Sages of Yoga, Jenni will either offer a discourse on a selected topic or guide us in contemplating verses from ancient texts such as The Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Autobiography of a Yogi, and The Essence of Self-Realization by Paramhansa Yogananda.
