My Journey and Lessons of the Inner Life

My work and journey as an entrepreneur used to involve finding products that would benefit myself and others. Amongst several other business adventures, I  founded a company, called Coconut Magic, based on my personal experience of the coconut product. This was a successful time, a lot of fun, and energy and very rewarding.

Following each success came its subsequent loss. My brother passed away, finances fluctuated and health challenges kicked in. It's like every external pleasure only exists with its adjacent pain. Life just kept on changing and for the past 15 years through meditation, contemplation, interspecies communication, and the study of yoga scriptures and practice, I have found that nothing is more deeply enriching and awakening than cultivating the inner life and our connection with all life.

I have found meditation to be the swayer of the sword of light that cuts through delusion, attachment, disconnect, limitation and other burdens that fill the mind with stress, anxiety and darkness.

I have learned various meditation techniques, including Transcendental Meditation, Vipassana or Insight Meditation and have now been trained in the deep yoga meditation techniques of Kriya Yoga as a Meditation Teacher and Spiritual Counsellor based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda.

When you turn on the light in a dark room, the darkness goes away.  It is darkness that eclipses the soul and brings disharmony and disease into the mind and the body.

I have learned that both psychological and physical diseases are created by wrong thinking. Thoughts of fear, worry, anxiety, selfishness, discontentment and other conditioned defects that shadow our inner light.

In cultivating spiritual awakening, I find a joy and sense of well-being that is not dependent on outer circumstances that are forever changing. All of my external successes and failures, joys and sorrows, have come and gone, but the eternal treasures within only get better, deeper and more expansive.

The journey really is an exploration of consciousness, learning to quiet and still the mind so we can sense and attune ourselves to our innermost conscious Self. You could say well beyond the mundane!

I continue to practice and learn, and it is with great joy that I might now share some of these practices and teachings with you.

Many blessings,

Jenni
