A Spark of Divinity Lives Within You

What distracts you from experiencing true bliss? 

You might say to me, well, I'm not feeling that blissful divine nature you speak about right now. So what's that all about?

The divine spark of joy, love, and peace is always within you, even if it doesn't always feel that way. You might remember gasping at a glorious sunset, melting in the arms of your beloved; you know it. Our minds, however, with their constant stream of thoughts, worries, anxieties, attachments, preferences and judgements, often distract us from this deeper presence.

So, how do we reconnect to this state of bliss and divine presence? In my experience and love for Yoga, the answer lies in meditation.

Meditation is like a gentle sweeping away of the dirty dust that clouds the mirror of our minds. It allows the light of our conscious awareness to redirect itself away from the ongoing stream of personal thoughts and back to its Source, that spark of divinity, the presence within. 

As awareness is lifted to higher states of being, clarity, peacefulness, profound concentration, creativity, and deeper compassion are cultivated.

In moments of stillness, when the storms of the mind are settled, these higher states of awareness come into focus, and they begin to permeate your brain's neural pathways—creating lasting positive, uplifting change.

So, even if you don't feel blissful right now, trust it's within you. Meditation can be the key to rediscovering that spark.
